Skydance Animation is looking for a Coordinator to provide support to the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition departments. This person will be responsible for assisting the SVP of Human Resources and the SVP of Talent Acquisition and Development. They will also help with the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources and Recruiting teams including scheduling, team expense reporting, travel assistance, employee onboarding, and maintaining reports.
A successful candidate will be a great collaborator, have excellent attention to detail and follow-through, the ability to handle multiple independent tasks, and a high level of confidentiality. This position is for someone who is passionate about supporting people, creating culture, and wanting to learn more about the business of Human Resources and Recruiting within a growing animation studio!
Responsibilities
• Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and the Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Development including but not limited to calendar management of complex changing schedules, anticipating needs, helping with urgent tasks, learning executive preferences, and finding ways to better support
• Help Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team members with additional administrative tasks
• Coordinate team travel including overnight and international accommodations, scheduling of events, creating travel itineraries, and distribution of information to travelers
• Prepare and submit monthly expense reconciliation reports for teams
• Organize meetings with internal and external contacts, including necessary documentation, agenda creation, room preparation, and video conferencing
• Prep start paperwork and assist in first day onboarding for new employees, including facilitating background checks, and facilitating new hire orientation
• Assist with filing, preparation and distribution of reports and documentation
• Maintain reports and tracking grids
• Assist in maintaining applicant tracking system and career portal by updating information, reassigning positions, and opening and closing jobs
• Deliver exceptional customer service with internal employees and external candidates
• Act as a first point of contact for employees with inquiries and provide information to Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team members
• Utilize Human Resources and Talent Acquisition tools and systems to better assist employees, candidates, and teams
• Attend meetings and note take, distribute as appropriate
• Event support
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• At least 2 years of administrative experience within Human Resources and/or Recruiting
• Enthusiasm and desire to learn various areas of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition
• Possesses a high level of discretion
• Ability to professionally handle multiple competing, urgent priorities
• Attention to detail and follow-through with highly detailed and confidential information
• Ability to self-prioritize
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Strong proficiency with MS Office & Google Suite
• Experience with DocuSign, ATS a plus
• Understanding of union and contract hires a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related area of study a plus
This job is a hybrid position and will have weekly onsite days
The hourly range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles, California is $25-27 an hour. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate's location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
