Skydance is looking for a Coordinator to join the Business & Legal Affairs team supporting the Television division. The ideal candidate has experience in providing administrative support in the entertainment industry, stellar organization skills and an enthusiasm for starting their career in a fast paced, collegial environment. #Media
Responsibilities
• Manage Executives calendars, coordinate meetings and appointments
• Screen and respond to heavy incoming call volume and email correspondence
• Manage communication with internal and external contacts including staff and management, agents, executives, creative talent, legal teams, etc.
• Create, maintain, and organize shared databases and electronic filing systems
• Draft, format, review, and revise correspondence and other written materials including agreements, letters, memos, cover sheets, and other legal documents
• Redline and version-compare agreements
• Research and advise on matters regarding to clearance, guild, and other legal issues
• Coordinate with productions regarding day-to-day Business & Legal Affairs services
• Provide back-up support to Business & Legal Affairs across Skydance divisions
• Ad hoc projects and duties as required, such a filing, copying, expenses, preparing agendas/resolutions for meetings
Requirements
• Juris Doctor Degree
• Bar Exam passage
• 1 year administrative experience preferred
• Legal experience preferred
• Passion for entertainment industry, knowledge of landscape (e.g. agencies, law firms, familiarity with production) preferred
• Proficient in MS software including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Project and time management skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Effective and efficient written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills; ability to interface with staff, other administrators, senior management, external contacts
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, demonstrates good judgement
• Self-motivated and proactive while balancing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines
The hourly rate range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $29.00 – $31.00. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate's location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
