Full Time Job
Skydance Media is looking for an experienced administrative professional to support its Executive Vice President of Feature Film. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting a high-volume desk within a complex and multi-faceted organization and demonstrate a strong understanding of production.
The core responsibilities will be to provide high-level administrative support including, but not limited to, day-to-day scheduling, call rolling, contact management, note-taking, international travel coordination, and coordination on feature film projects from all stages of development through delivery. This position requires strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal skills, exemplary verbal and written communication, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal staff and external creatives.
Responsibilities
• Manages Executive Vice President's calendar, schedules and coordinates meetings and appointments with both internal and external participants
• Screens and responds to heavy incoming call volume and email correspondence
• Maintain up-to-date contact databases
• Arranges detailed and extensive international travel plans and itineraries
• Compiles travel documentation and expense reports
• Provides other administrative assistance as needed, such as file tracking and management, watermarking, and preparing submission materials, etc.
• Must be able to read and understand important production documents and extract critical data
• Support various research duties including, but not limited to, tracking down materials, rights, and contact information
• Takes detailed notes of creative calls and conversations as needed
• The ability to provide script, book coverage, and thoughts on creative materials
• Upholds the utmost discretion and confidentiality
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required
• A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience supporting a senior executive or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
• Production experience is a plus
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and good judgment
• Exemplifies the ability to interface with internal staff and external creative and production personnel, support staff, filmmakers, and talent in a highly professional manner
• Must be highly proficient with MS software including Word, Excel & Outlook
• Must be able to multitask, prioritize workload, anticipate tasks, and meet deadlines in a calm and organized manner
• Must be a self-starter and proactive
• Familiarity with industry concepts, practices, and procedures a plus; such as relevant software skills and a general understanding of development and production
• Ability to handle confidential matters with the utmost discretion
The hourly rate range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $21.00 – $23.00. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate's location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
