Skybound Entertainment is looking for an assistant to support its three LA-based partners. This shared partner assistant would coordinate heavily with the individual first assistants for each partner, as well as maintain the connection between each Skybound department. The ideal candidate is driven, has an entrepreneurial spirit, a no-task-is-too-small mindset, and the ability to learn quickly. The candidate should have an interest in all types of entertainment, and the desire to work in an exciting, creative environment. Communication, organization, and flexibility are key skills for this position. This job is an extraordinary opportunity to learn about the different facets of Skybound's business and will give the right candidate a firsthand look at running a multi-platform entertainment company.
They partner assistant is responsible for the following:
• Taking notes and identifying action items in all department meetings, then following up on all items on behalf of CEO
• Scheduling and supporting meetings, as needed
• Tracking potential business ventures for Partners and coordinating related monthly meetings with department heads
• Answering phones, leaving messages, etc., as needed
• Reading scripts, novels, comics, pitch documents, etc. for coverage
• Odd jobs around the office
• Going on numerous, timely runs for various Skybound departments
• Maintaining extensive research grids
• Generating creative decks for various projects and various departments
• Researching adaptation rights for multiple mediums
• Covering the front desk if neither receptionist is available
• Proofreading scripts
• Assisting partners at San Diego Comic Con
• Updating and managing extensive restaurant list for potential business dinners
• Using wine search tools to find and order wine online, and managing multiple cellars
• Work with all departments to hire interns for their department
