Skybound is seeking an experienced Director of People Operations to lead the vision for talent acquisition and management, culture, compensation, performance management and diversity, equity and inclusion for the entire company. The right candidate will be a flexible and empathetic generalist who can build strong relationships throughout all levels of the company.
This position reports to: VP Finance.
The major areas directed are:
performance management and improvement systems
employment and compliance to regulatory concerns
employee orientation, development, and training
policy development and documentation
employee relations, work to build a safe, open and credible culture
company-wide committee facilitation
company employee and community communication
compensation and benefits administration
employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health
employee services and counseling
Diversity, equity & inclusion
work with the D&I Committee on goals/initiatives that impact policy, recruitment or training
lead training efforts through our D&I learning platform, Paradigm REACH
advocate for equitable practices with the leadership team and with managers
recruiting and staffing
lead the recruiting strategy with a focus on increasing diversity and ensuring inclusive hiring
support organizational and space planning
lead return to work strategy and draft vaccination policy
develop and monitors an annual budget
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE: 8+ years direct People Operations (Human Resources) experience, including building and implementing operational programs.
3+ years leading People Ops teams in a high-growth startup environment.
3+ years of talent development, performance management or organizational development.
Broad business acumen; able to think strategically, while also focus on results: will need to develop strategy but also execute tactical duties within the People Ops function.
Experience with TriNet and BambooHR preferred.
Experience in remote work and multistate companies preferred.
SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
Well-versed in local, state and federal laws related to HR & People.
Self-directed professional who knows what needs to be done and operates with a sense of urgency, flexibility and focus.
