Corporate and Internal Communications Manager
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Corporate and Internal Communications Manager plays a key role within Skybound Entertainment, working daily with executives to help bring the vision for Skybound to life, both externally and internally.
The Corporate and Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for getting the word out and shaping the public narrative on Skybound's highest-profile projects, people, and the company itself.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and execute all brand and corporate publicity efforts for'skybound?Entertainment and its ventures -'skybound?Games,'skybound?Galactic, and'skybound?North.?Handle publicity?for any projects involving Skybound?CEO/Executive Producer David Alpert or Skybound Chairman/Creator Robert Kirkman.??
Work closely with film and television partners to announce new developments with trade publications.??
Coordinate with film and television team to promote'skybound?produced film and series; ensure the'skybound?brand is properly represented, coordinate interviews and appearances for Alpert and Kirkman, and act as liaison between partners and the rest of'skybound.??
Own'skybound's?corporate communications strategy; executive press interviews, speaking?opps, etc.??
Secure press for film/TV development updates, new partnerships, and more'skybound?announcements.?
Media train and brief executive team and creators ahead of public speaking engagements or interviews.?
Plan and execute events including press days, company parties,?all-staff?meetings and retreats.?
Create?and distribute internal communications including newsletters, executive talking points, and CEO email updates.???
Qualifications:
4-6 years of experience in entertainment PR.
Experience working with C-Suite executives.
Corporate Communications experience is required.
Internal comms experience is a plus.
A self-starter who can work independently or with minor supervision in a fast pace, multi-project, and process-oriented environment by balancing time on competing priorities.
Ability to spot problems before they arise, and constantly looking for ways to improve processes.
