We are looking for a creative, hands-on Global Social Media Manager to accelerate the brand voice and social media content globally. This person will be the driving force of our social media strategy, analysis, day-to-day execution and reporting while also creating new and effective ways to extend our social presence and engage the youth culture community.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Develop a social strategy with a key emphasize on laddering up to outlined brand goals. Bringing to life the cross sections of music and action sports. Maintain a forward-thinking and relevant attitude to be top of mind for consideration in our target consumers though space. Supporting product and brand messaging and initiatives. Tailor plans per platform. outlining the community usage of the channel and the best strategy to for the brand to engage meaningfully
Implement our global social strategy designed to be adaptable and scalable for our international regions. Taking into consideration regional teams bandwidth and level of social media experience:
Monitor international content on all global branded channels to ensure consistency of brand tone and aesthetics, re-enforcing a cohesive brand experience across international platforms
Hold bi-weekly calls with all international regions to provide insights, learnings and updates on the execution of future social plans and/or amendments to the social strategy
Build 'playbook guidelines' for all channels and community management. Implement guidelines for best practices and optimization for each, sharing and communicating with our International teams. Should include but not limited to content examples, tone, posting cadence recommendation, platform functionality, community support, customer service process
Develop a comprehensive, cross-channel social media calendar ensuring that the content ladders up to overall brand strategy and plans, providing visibility with internal and external teammates, reflecting key brand and product moments
Build, communicate and document objectives and success metrics for all channels (e.g., engagement, views, online conversations, tonal sentiment, etc.)
Manage daily social posts and brand conversations, as well as guide daily community management. Ensure we are engaging and encouraging with UGC, fielding to customer service inquiries with personalized responses, and supporting ambassador posts
Manage flow of creative content and output on consumer facing platforms. This includes implementing and enforcing organizational tactics and processes to insure content is shared easily and in a timely manner. Must communicate and share regularly with; international regions, brand partners, brand ambassadors, and cross functional internal team
Create and manage social programs, both paid and organic, to support marketing-wide brand and demand-generation initiatives. Utilizing paid media campaigns, you will increase awareness with our target consumer, consideration, grow engagement and followers, and re-enforce brand affinity
Collaborate cross-functionally with our Digital team to advise on content to commerce strategy
Proactively identify relevant industry happenings, cultural trends and/or leading brands to help expand creative content plans and improve brand awareness. Focus on identifying and managing brand relevant social partnerships main focus on broadening reach to a new audience target audience, bolstering consideration through positive brand associations
Make strategic recommendations on new and emerging social technologies, platforms and portals. Seek and evaluate new social media and platforms and technology opportunities and stay at the forefront of the adoption of new social media trends, tools, and channels. Vet emerging features and new services on existing platforms (IE: Facebook ad options, livestream, Snapchat, new social ad types, platforms etc.)
CURRENT CHANNELS TO MANAGE:
Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google +, Vero
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of professional social media experience; proven success in building audiences for brands through social media and digital content
Education background in Marketing and/or Communications is a plus
Experience with the tools and analytics related to evaluating success in social media publishing, and building relationships and partnerships with influencers and brands
Agency Management would be of benefit
Proficient understanding in the use and implementation of paid media across multiple channels
Proficient in Adobe suite, MS Office and social scheduling tools/platforms
Strong understanding of website metrics, data analysis, and reporting tools
