We're looking for a strong, seasoned Series Producer with experience in animated Children's TV, to help oversee production of an international hit series and associated projects, including guiding the creative direction, helping to manage the day-to-day operations and ensuring that the project adheres to schedule and budget. This role reports to the Executive Producer (EP).
Skills and Experience:
• Must have experience in supervising animated series
• Have industry contacts and a network of creative resources
• Have experience in supervising editorial on series animation from development through delivery
• Must be organized and able to multitask in a busy production office
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and a desire for excellence.
• Strong computer skills are a plus (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong editorial, writing and/or directing experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with animation styles & software a plus
Main Responsibilities:
• Produce and help EP run an animated Children's Television series, including spin-off and ancillary projects related to the brand.
• Together with EP, lead script notes meetings; head visual development and help shape all content through all stages of the production process to the model established during development.
• Help EP supervise Script/Project Coordinator to ensure creative quality and secure all necessary approvals, including those from broadcaster and creators (when applicable) on project.
• Supervise or assist EP in Supervising Vocal Director and record process.
• Act as project's key creative contact with broadcasters, key partners and other various departments within the company, i.e. marketing, brand and licensing; including executive management staff.
• Liaise with various company departments on key project based activities. Help provide visuals, writing and other materials as needed for presentations, markets, licensing, web and other platform content (e.g. One-sheets, show bibles, toy ideas, ads, mobile content, web content, blog content, etc).
• Work closely with the EP, Head of Production and production team to ensure that the project is executed to the established standard; that the project runs on time and on budget and help to ensure that all necessary paperwork is generated and processed.
