Intern - Editor

This is a Freelance Unpaid Internship

We are looking for interns to edit original programs for Silver Dream Factory. Our content includes music videos, web content, tv pilots, shorts and feature films. We have numerous series and shows, plus hours of footage that need to be edited for marketable content. Must have experience with Final Cut Pro and own a Macbook Pro. Interns must be available to meet at our studio in Buena Park at least once a week for assignments and tone meetings.

DESCRIPTION: - We are a busy, emerging independent studio that's producing original content and are in need of creative, self starters who want to add some great credits and outstanding footage to their reels. Most of our content is scripted, but we're also developing reality shows that need to be cut. We have a follow up episode of an award winning children's show that's in the can and needs cleaning up. Our world sales rep will place the show once it's in prime condition to present.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE - - Strong understanding of FCP7 or X and media management - . Experience with Adobe Suites / Affter Effects a plus. If you'd got motion control and green screen experience, we'd love to hear from you. If you edit on Premier, that's ok as long as we can create files that can be converted / exchanged.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: - - Must be available to complete individual assignments on a schedule and have a strong interest in narrative story telling, production and digital media - - Social-media savvy - a plus. We are team building here and will be introducing family entertainment to the global audience in early September.
