SPS is looking for a coordinator to maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure and support our designers with any issues that may arise during our multimedia production efforts, both in-house and remotely.
This is an evolving job in a highly dynamic environment. If you are familiar with 2D/3D production tools and have experience as a render wrangler, this would be a highly considered asset and would undoubtedly facilitate your integration into this role.
Main responsibilities
Main tasks
Respond to technical requests from designers.
Render Wrangling 2D/3D
Inspection of computer equipment, Bug reports
Equipment and software maintenance
Inventory, labeling of new equipment
Send, receive equipment and RMA
Software maintenance
Update Adobe Suite Creative Cloud
Update Adobe After Effects plugins and scripts
Update Cinema 4D + Octane + RedShift
Update Windows and OSX
Update various software tools (depending on the project)
Hardware maintenance
Hard disk update
CPU and GPU update
RAM update
Skills and experience
General knowledge of multimedia, video and audio
General office automation and computer knowledge
Knowledge of Google, Dropbox and Slack communication tools an asset
Excellent knowledge of Windows and Mac OSX platforms
Knowledge of render wrangling and Thinkbox Deadline software an asset
Analytical, judgmental, research, and problem solving skills
Open-mindedness and adaptability to change and a long-term vision to prevent and cope with the different requirements of each project
Sense of responsibility, rigor and respect for deadlines
Excellent ability to lead several projects simultaneously
Curious and sociable
Bilingualism in English and French, oral and written required
