Sierra/Affinity is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support the Finance Department. The Coordinator will report directly to and support the Vice President of Finance & Accounting.
The ideal candidate will be a sharp, mathematically-minded and tech-savvy individual who is exceptionally organized and seeking a great opportunity to grow in a positive atmosphere.
Responsibilities Include:
Accounts Payable
• Entry & Approvals
• Purchase Orders
• Invoice Entry
• Credit Cards - Management and Reconciliation
• Petty Cash - Management and Reconciliation
• Check Processing
• Expense Reports
• Bank Reconciliation
• Budget Tracking
• Basic Project Analysis - Comparing Project and Market budgets against actuals.
• Some Administrative work - filing, answering questions from vendors, phone policy
management, etc.
We're looking for:
• Prior Film, TV, or general experience in accounting and bookkeeping. 2nd Assistant Accountant experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, specifically Pivot Tables.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Must be process driven and collaborative.
• Must be tech-oriented: familiarity with OSX, Windows, iOS, Android, Google Apps, and the
Microsoft Business Suite.
• Prior experience working with EP Vista, Quickbooks, MS Dynamics, Sage, or SAP.
• Familiarity with Xero or FilmTrack is a plus.
