About SickBird is on the hunt for a creative entrepreneur who can grow their network of original content, from creative development to monetization and distribution strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience growing a network and can bring a fresh perspective to the saturated market. You will think of this content as more than just podcasts but extraordinary IP. You will manage the existing team of producers, talent and editor and work closely with the CEO to onboard new shows. You have a pulse for emerging digital talent and understand when there is a need for a podcast and when there isn't. You will have a big picture understanding of distribution and how to package and pitch shows.
Executive Presence You're from the music, podcasting, media, and/or entertainment worlds. You understand what deals and partnerships look like and how they're built.
Objectives
- Oversee the development, production and strategy of the SickBird podcast slate
- Manage a growing team of podcast producers globally
- Partner closely with the CEO and creative team to source ideas and develop pitches
- Focus on ambitious and innovative ways to grow our audience for existing shows and new shows
- Help expand our podcast footprint, including into video and events
- Regularly evaluate and give feedback to show hosts and producers
- Work closely with the business development, finance and marketing teams to build on our podcast business
- Maintain relationships with partners to help grow influence and audience in the podcast space?
