(SNI) owns and operates the premium television networks SHOWTIME®, THE MOVIE CHANNEL™ and FLIX®, and also offers SHOWTIME ON DEMAND®, THE MOVIE CHANNEL™ ON DEMAND and FLIX ON DEMAND®, and the network's authentication service SHOWTIME ANYTIME®. Showtime Digital Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SNI, operates the stand-alone streaming service SHOWTIME®. SHOWTIME is currently available to subscribers via cable, DBS, and telco providers, and as a stand-alone streaming service through Amazon, Apple®, Google, LG Smart TVs, Oculus Go, Roku®, Samsung Smart TVs and Xbox One.
Overview
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Multi-Platform Interstitial (MPI) linear and non-linear job assignments and versioning based on strategic plans. This person will liaison with Interstitial Management, Campaign Management, AVP, Post Production Services (PPS), and the Operations departments on a regular basis to ensure promotions are created, versioned, and messaged properly. They will prioritize spot processing for promotion mastering on an as-needed basis with Interstitial Management in order to ensure timely delivery of spots. They will attend daily meetings to provide notes with associated action points and maintain charts for MPI.
Responsibilities
• Provide traffic support for all broadcast media. Create job assignments for linear and non-linear platforms via data entry into IBMS.
• Version all promotions for linear and non-linear platforms via data entry into IBMS. Additionally, create end page requests for Campaign Management.
• Maintain the daily Promo Inventory Chart for linear and non-linear platforms. Coordinate with the interstitial planners as well as the Campaign Management, AVP, and Rights & Clearances departments to ensure correct deliverables, priority promotions, plus start and end dates for each version.
• Review spots that have delivered to ensure they have the proper messaging required for linear and non-linear platforms. Daily maintenance in IBMS to ensure correct dates, networks/platform assignments, and update all job delivery dates, air dates, start times, and messaging.
• Assist with traffic in GAM, ADS3 and other non-linear scheduling programs.
• Send the daily Spots Needed request list to MPI and PPS and maintain clear communication with those departments throughout the day to ensure all spots needed are completed and to alert teams of log changes needed.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in On-Air Promotions, Media Planning, Agency Traffic and/or Operations.
• Knowledge of the interstitial on-air process and environments or a broadcast traffic background
• Experience working with a scheduling system
• Strong, clear communication and writing skills
• Adaptable to fast-paced changes
• Ability to develop charts using Excel and Word
Additional Qualifications
• Undergraduate college degree preferred
• Basic working knowledge of Google Ad Manager (GAM), FreeWheel, and/or Airtable is a plus
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Adapting to daily changes in plans and promotions
• Ability to work with and maintain close relationship with SHO interstitial group, Campaign Management, AVP, Post Production Services, Operations, Programming Planning and Scheduling, Digital & Social Media, Brand and Program Marketing, SHO Sports, International and other departments as needed!
