Showtime is looking for a pop culture-loving, television-obsessed Manager, Digital Marketing to manage digital & social marketing for Showtime's brand and scripted series! This is an exciting opportunity to lead social marketing strategy and digitally-led campaigns focused on driving fan engagement, acquisition, and viewership!
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
• Lead all aspects of digital & social marketing campaigns including the planning, launch, ongoing execution, and measurement of campaigns.
• Participate in creative ideation and brainstorming around scripted titles.
• Provide audience/social insights to creative & digital content teams to encourage creative thinking.
• Work with the Director to inform digital strategy for each show, and then collaborate with cross-functional partners to bring the digital & social strategy to life
• Lead all aspects of social media channel management for a portfolio of scripted programming, driving engagement and brand awareness.
• Continually monitor channel & audience behavior to optimize campaigns and identify additional opportunities for engagement.
• When necessary, provide hands-on, tactical execution of campaigns, including crafting content calendars, writing copy, posting content, and engaging with fans.
• Partner with teams to concept and launch 360 campaigns, owning the digital marketing components and providing digital expertise, guidance, and ideas that extend to all mediums..
• Collaborate with the paid media team to ensure that the strategy, content, and creative supports the overall strategy for a show or campaign.
• Coordinate the day-to-day work and relationship with agency partners on campaign development, channel management, and measurement for specific properties.
• Mentor and oversee the work of a digital marketing coordinator(s), who supports the day-to-day tasks of the digital marketing team.
• Monitor social and digital trends surrounding Showtime programming and culture to identify unique opportunities to capitalize show- or character-specific fandoms.
• Provide ongoing trend reports to internal partners to educate cross-functional teams on what's important in digital media.
Basic Qualifications:
• 4 years in digital & social marketing capacity within the Entertainment space
• hands-on experience managing social communities and planning/launching digital campaigns.
• Familiarity with paid social strategies, either from a strategic or hands-on tactical standpoint.
• Experience working closely with influencers or creators to build promotional content and improve its reach.
• Experience mentoring junior teammates and/or agency partners responsible for carrying out campaigns
Additional Qualifications:
• Adaptable with the ability to handle many projects at a time in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work assignments, and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confidence, interpersonal skills, and willingness to collaborate with all types of people at all varying levels of the company.
• Experience working on-the-ground events including screenings, set visits, premieres, parties or red carpets on social media.
• Ability to travel to events, production locations, and other places, as required including nights and weekend work as necessary.
