We are searching for a Sr. Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. This opportunity provides the right candidate the responsibility, alongside the VP, Financial Planning and Analysis, of managing the analysis of content through all revenue streams at Shout! from the beginning of the acquisitions process to ongoing evaluations of existing deals/overall company performance. The role will also work closely with department heads throughout marketing, digital, production, and sales to provide analytical support in order to effectively manage the various cost elements of the business and ensure optimal profitability levels are being maintained. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical and organizational skills and will be able to work both independently and collaboratively with the team. A passion for entertainment, music, film, or television and knowledge of the multiple ways in which content is currently being consumed by its audience is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Various weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue reporting to be distributed throughout the company as well as to key clients
Tracking of incoming pitches, projections, and deals as they close
Integral role in the budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting process, including detailed evaluation of all new release projects and key catalog libraries and films
Along with VP, Financial Planning and Analysis, compiling data and assembling various project profitability packages and decks for business reviews internally and with key clients
Provide deeper acquisitions analysis including industry research and market trends to aid sales and content streaming and distribution with projections and strategy, including updated models to better understand the direction the industry is heading and pursue projects accordingly
Aid in ongoing improvement of business review processes, including strategizing how to best provide useful and thoughtful analysis for department heads
Deep understanding of the various CRM and market research systems in place at Shout, harnessing available data in an effort to better understand the metrics on which we should be focusing and provide analysis for department heads in these areas
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3 years' experience in financial reporting and analysis in the entertainment industry
Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related discipline with regards to film and/or analytics
Strong analytical, systems and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communications and organizational skills
Ability to work both remotely and in-person with an LA-based team
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
Ready for the challenges of this rapid growth opportunity
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prior experience in film/entertainment industry, including a strong understanding of the various methods in which the market consumes content
MBA a plus
NetSuite experience a plus
Knowledge of rights management systems a plus
