Sales Operations Manager
Beloved by fans and filmmakers, Shout! Factory is a unique producer and distributor of film, contemporary and classic TV, music, animation, and comedy. We are a company of over 90 dedicated employees who strive to bring to fans the film and TV content of all genres they love themselves -delivered thru theatrical release, digital streaming, downloads, broadcast television and DVD.
We are searching for a Sales Operations Manager who will be responsible for accurately tracking and reformatting physical sales financial data used for planning, analysis, and budgeting to meet sales targets. Responsibilities in this role also include the management of marketing and production information, and relaying the information to our distributor.
Reports to: Sr. VP of Sales
Exemption Status: Exempt
Salary: $70,000-$75,000 per yr.
Paid Time Off: Holidays, Vacation, Paid Sick Leave, Personal Days
Compensation: Full benefits package including 401(K), medical, dental, vision, and more
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources to be used for sales planning and analysis
• Communicate with our distributor on a regular basis with an understanding of their systems and deadlines.
• Announce release date, pricing confirmation and metadata for staff and distributor
• Amazon Vendor Central Support to Shout and Universal
• Answer ongoing pricing, release, and street date questions
• Service production updates, art files and power point tools
• Compile Amazon data for team to project manufacturing demands
• Collaborate with Sales team on business insights and promotional activity using the analytical data created by this position
• Analyze and improve systems and processes as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+Years' experience in Sales Planning & Analysis or Finance Administration
• Proficient in MS Office as well as experience working in SharePoint
• Expert Excel competency including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
• Strong analytical abilities; Top level view of current and future quarterly performance for simple monthly analysis.
• Expert in MicroStrategy System; Ability to data mine and research business and account trends.
• Ability to multi-task, nimbly jump from task to task as priorities shift
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent follow through with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work smoothly with internal and external contacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Results-oriented problem-solving skills
• College level education in statistics, marketing, sales analysis, or equivalent experience
• A basic understanding of Amazon Vendor Central System and Amazon Retail Analytic is beneficial.
