Job Title: Senior Graphic Designer
Location: New York City Office
She Media is hiring a Senior Graphic Designer to join its New York-based editorial team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the digital women’s lifestyle space and a proven ability to produce engaging, on-brand visual elements that speak to an audience of women and moms over 30. You’ll be a creative thinker and a team player who can juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the design and aesthetic of SheKnows and Flow Space brands, ensuring compliance with visual standards
• Manage design aspects of branded content campaigns in collaboration with SHE Media designers
• Create feature images for SheKnows and Flow Space stories
• Collaborate with Editors-in-Chief (EICs) to design digital issues and destinations
• Lead the creative direction, organization, and production of photo shoots alongside editors and business managers
• Maintain relationships with contributors such as photographers and stylists
• Develop cohesive branding across social media platforms
• Design video title cards and general design elements
• Produce tentpole banners and email blasts with light HTML input
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in a major digital media company
• Strong understanding of the women’s lifestyle space
• Proven ability to create quality content under pressure
