Sex With Emily [SWE] is one of iTunes top-rated and longest running sex and relationship podcasts and a 5-day a week Live SiriusXM Radio show that helps millions of listeners and followers open up their minds about sex, communicate effectively in their relationships and dating - all in a shame-free, non-judgemental way.
SWE is looking for a motivated and creative Associate Producer that is well versed in all types of media. This position will assist the Producer with in all aspects of the production of the podcast and SiriusXM Radio show. At a high level, this role is responsible for:
Assist with creation, research, and development of all prep documents, including segments and guests
Post podcast episodes to proper platforms and work with Social Media Manager for podcast social postings
Manage equipment and monitor levels during recordings
Track and record notes and timestamps during shows for relevant content to pull for Social Media Manager
Work with Social Media Manager to ensure all sponsors are getting their social media deliverables
Manage interns along with Producer, and teaching them various administrative tasks
Maintain ''Show Notes'' web page
Post episodes to Libsyn
Experience:
1-3 years in the podcast/radio/television field
Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks throughout the day
Sound editing capabilities with knowledge in Adobe Audition preferred
A self-starter and creative person who can work just as well alone as they can collaboratively
Detail-oriented and very organized
Familiarity with Google Suite: Google Docs & Spreadsheets
Ability to do diligent research on guests and topics
