SET Artist Management is currently seeking an Audio & Visual Intern.
The position is part-time and requires a minimum of 2-3 days a week. While the position will require daily office work, we are looking for someone who is interested in gaining hands on AV experience.
In the past our interns have had opportunities to accompany artists on walk throughs of venue spaces prior to events, learn technical aspects of audio equipment, and help with the setup of an artist's equipment before an event. Our interns interact daily with artists, DJs and performers who have years of experience in the nightlife and music industry. Our interns also interact and work with some of the top nightlife venues in the city. These daily interactions with artists as well as venue staff all works toward a better understanding of artist booking and talent management. Interns are also expected to help maintain our social media platforms, which help promote our events for both the artist and the venue. Ultimately this position will provide a well-balanced office, administrative and on site experience.
Internship Duties:
-Accompany employees on venue walk throughs
-Assist with AV set ups for various venues and events
-Manage equipment inventory and keep our storage unit organized
-Review digital platforms such as our website and social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Mixcloud) to ensure information is accurate and up to date
General Skills/Abilities:
-Organizational Skills
-Ability to work on multiple tasks
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Knowledge of Google & Microsoft Office applications
-Attention to detail
*Must have a strong interest in learning AV
