MOTION GRAPHICS COORDINATOR

Seismic Productions in Los Angeles, California is a leading creator of video marketing content for the entertainment industry. We are looking for a talented, highly-motivated individual to work on-site at our offices in Hollywood as a Coordinator with our team of motion graphics designers in the creation of entertainment marketing content for theatrical, television, web and social media channels. This position is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to get your foot in the door and work on marketing campaigns for a wide variety of film, streaming, cable and TV outlets. Your background must include either graphic design, visual effects or advertising training. You might have gone to a top design or VFX program or you might be a completely self-taught person with no formal training. But you must be able to back your interest up with a portfolio that demonstrates your potential to excel. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Quality control and post assets for design team with high accuracy
• Coordinate the finishing of a wide variety of deliverables
• Keep the design team on schedule and on track to meet deadlines
• Post marketing materials on Seismic website and social media channels
• Create PDF decks for design presentations
• Develop design themes and concepts
• Research fonts, design styles and executions QUALIFICATIONS:
• Background and/or training in graphic design, visual effects or motion graphics
• Proficiency with Adobe AfterEffects and Photoshop
• Excel at working sometimes long, unpredictable hours under deadline
• Have an excellent eye with an attention to detail This position has the potential to be a stepping stone to becoming a motion graphics designer. We will require full-time in-person work at our office in Hollywood. You must be authorized to work in the US and we are only considering local candidates.
