Full Time Job
Job Title: International Scouting - Administrator
Department: Baseball Operations
Reports To: Director, International Amateur Scouting
Collaborates with: International Scouting staff, Mariners DSL Complex Coordinator and Mariners BBOP's leadership
Status: Non-Exempt
Primary Objective: Support and assist Director of International Scouting with International staff communication, department scheduling, data uploading, video editing, BBOP's inter-departmental interaction and international player documents and contracts.
Essential Functions:
• Provide assistance in all manners of International scouting staff communication, including: emails, phone calls, texts, WhatsApp messaging and video conferencing
• Consistently interact with Director of International Amateur Scouting to plan efficient travel schedules and agendas for the International staff
• Spearhead the collection, organization, and transfer of ''measurables'' data (athletic, Trackman, Rapsodo, Blast Motion, etc.) from outside sources onto our Trident system
• Help in maintaining, organizing and further developing the video catalog of international amateur players, as well as overseeing its transfer from outside sources over to Clips & Trident
• Provide QA in regards to international player documentation and necessary paperwork
• Assist in organizing International Department meetings - weekly virtual Leadership meetings, monthly virtual Department meetings and yearly in-person Department meetings
• Create 1st year contracts for international players
• Communicate with DSL Complex Coordinator to plan player signings at the Mariners DSL academy
• Manage the DSL roster on EBIS
• Two year commitment to reside in the Dominican Republic
• Will perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
• A minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
• Prior experience with Video Editing applications
• Prior exposure to Trackman, Rapsodo & Blast Motion applications
