We have an exciting International Publicity Coordinator opportunity with the Searchlight Pictures team.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate travel and logistics for international press events including press days, junkets, festivals, award ceremonies, screenings, set visits and photoshoots.
• Process required visas for talent and entourage traveling internationally on behalf of Searchlight titles.
• Negotiate glam rates for talent within approved budget.
• Update overall budgets as costs confirm.
• Oversee international coverage document with interviews completed and estimated run dates.
• Track and compile key weekly international breaks for circulation to filmmakers and executives.
• Coordinate interviews for below the line cast and talent as requested.
• Compile press nominations from the international markets.
• Journalist coordination at press events.
• Check in journalists at screenings.
• Update talent schedules and timelines as requested.
• Press/review research for film and talent specific projects, work on publicity strategy.
• Support Searchlight International Publicist.
Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years administrative experience supporting senior management level within entertainment industry with an emphasis on Publicity
• Flexibility to travel and work weekends as requested
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines make decisions, and change course of action quickly
• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
• Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously
• Effective communicator, both verbally and written
• Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible
• Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Easy access to transportation
