Full Time Job
SDI Media is currently seeking an entry level AR Specialist that has strong communication and customer service skills. An ideal candidate will have previous office experience, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
• Generate large volumes of customer invoices based on PO's, quotes, and other client agreements, researching discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closes and audits, adhering to corporate deadlines.
• Work with sales and client rep teams to ensure all documents are received in compliance with JSOX prior to invoicing.
• Compile, sort, and audit documents such as PO's, quotes, and other reports generated from our production system.
• Generate data exports from multiple software and perform analysis to compare and combine data into a readable and usable report, for billing and reconciliation purposes.
• Use advanced Excel functions to analyse data.
• Other projects as assigned by AR Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience
• General office/administrative experience; Billing or other accounting/ finance related experience preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred, but not required if there is previous finance/accounting experience. (Great for recent graduates!)
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial accounting packages such as Navision, preferred
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, accurate and detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and deliver to deadlines.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to maintain a high level of efficiency, confidentiality and ethics.
• An interest in the entertainment industry is a plus!
