Intern - Development TV/Film/Podcasts

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

We are seeking Creative Development Interns for the Fall 2022 semester (late August - December). This is a hybrid internship (i.e. mix of virtual and in-person) that meets two afternoons per week at our offices in Hollywood. Participants must receive college credit and should plan to allocate 15 hours/week to the activities of the internship.

Our internship program is designed to prepare students for careers in the entertainment industry with hands-on experience and active mentorship from seasoned producers and studio executives. Interns will become part of a small, ambitious team at an early-stage startup and have exposure to both the creative and business sides of media entrepreneurship. Ideal candidates for this position have an interest in writing, directing and/or producing.

Primary Duties:
• reading and providing coverage on incoming submissions (pitches, scripts, books)
• pitching and flushing out ideas for new series
• preparing notes on projects in development and post-production
• creating pitch decks and marketing assets for active projects
• tracking fiction podcast releases and talent (writers, directors, actors, key crew)
• staying abreast of industry news & trends
