Scripps Networks Interactive, the leader in lifestyle media with top brands such as HGTV, Food Network, and Travel Channel, is searching for a Photo Shoot Producer/ Editor in Knoxville, TN to join our Still Image Management team.

The Still Image Management Team supports activities in any area(s) of photography including but not limited to commissioned still photography shoot production from the initial shoot request through final post production and delivery of images, image review and evaluation, verification of rights, usage terms, asset selection and tagging, post production and distribution and non-liner image distribution. The Photo Shoot Producer /Editor will operate with a significant degree of autonomy to handle all aspects of shoot production and distribution.

Our teams are engaged in Digital Distribution, Media Asset Management and Operations, Corporate Systems, and Enterprise Architecture, as well as providing all facets of world class technology support.
What you will be doing:
• Compile and distribute all project details to internal and external resources, to include: securing all required paperwork (call sheets, shot list, talent/location releases, contractor paperwork, deal memos, sample contact sheets, permits, insurance certificates, delivery schedule)
• Research, evaluation, negotiation and hiring of photographers
• Handling all post production:
• Facilitate retouching
• Quality control on images and metadata
• Providing feedback to photographer/agency
• Edit deliverables for evaluating the technical quality, aesthetic value and marketability of images
• Image delivery into the internal image digital asset management repository and backup server
• Managing budget process to include securing estimates, confirmation of delivery and invoice approval
• Maintain tracking, air dates, assignments and priority listings to facilitate timely processing, posting and distribution and/or embargos
• Master the enterprise systems, including but not limited to: e-search/Media Search/Snidbit, iDAM/Focus, FGS, GlobalEdit, Hot Docs, PSA, SharePoint, SNIPP
• Review & Edit image deliverables: Evaluate the technical quality, aesthetic value and marketability of images against network requirements and distribution partners' requirements
• Work with network representatives to provide feedback and manage photo approvals as needed
What you need to have:
• Minimum 3 years experience in advanced digital photography and photo production with solid communicative knowledge of photography terminology, understanding of current image capture and post-production software and hardware
• Proficient working with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint, MS Outlook
• Experience with both MAC and PC platforms and knowledge of Adobe applications (Photoshop CS5 and Bridge preferred)
It's a plus if you have:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
This is a part time role, 15 to 20 hours/week.
