This is a Full Time Paid Internship
We are currently seeking a Programming Intern to be located in our NY-Chelsea office.
Job Description:
Internship Qualifications
• Intern must be a rising or current junior, rising or current senior, graduate student, or recent graduate (within 6 months of graduation date) at an accredited college/university.
• Applicants must have completed their sophomore year prior to the start of the internship.
• Must have previous internship experience and/or participated in college clubs/organizations, and/or in-depth coursework in a related field
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Scripps Networks is unable to sponsor visas for interns. If you are an international student not already studying in the U.S. on an F-1 or J-1 visa, then you have to go through a university or an outside organization (internship placement agency) that will sponsor your visa.
• Must have strong oral and written communications skills, as well as exceptional organization and planning skills
• You must include your anticipated graduation
• Must have an interest in the media and television industries
Duties and Responsibilities
• Facilitate day to day communication between Ad Sales Marketing team regarding in-show integration requests, budgets & timelines
• Brainstorm ideas for organic integrated content that meets advertisers' goals while still driving ratings for network programming
• Maintain and update department work flow, guidelines, and tracking documents.
• Including, but not limited to: integrations pitched, trade outs, and production budgets.
• Update the department SharePoint site and corresponding communication with partners, inclusive of integration deadlines
