Scratch Music group is looking for a world-class Sales Manager who on a daily basis will pitch Fortune 1000 companies across a number of verticals to sell them a range of DJ services from single bookings to large-scale national event series.
This position is designed for a sales hunter. Someone who has a knack and passion to knock down doors and a strong ability to pitch effectively once in.
The ideal candidate will have the right mix and interest in B2B sales, strong verbal and communication skills, the ability to understand how to develop and manage a pipeline along with the strategic ability to help drive market share.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with management to develop, deploy and oversee a comprehensive sales outreach strategy
• Engage new accounts through a mix of emails, cold calls, conferences and networking
• Identify the angles/strategy for hitting and exceeding revenue metrics
• Work inside the company's CRM to drive and maintain the sales pipeline from lead to close
• Pitch, negotiate and close sales leads to all accounts in the pipeline
• Set, meet and exceed sales conversion, outreach goals, margin goals and revenue objectives
• Stay up to date on latest industry trends to identify new targets and tweaks in strategic direction
• Ability to create, review and edit sales collateral
Key Qualifications:
• Proven experience and passion to be a sales hunter
• Experience owning revenue and executing a strategy that has hit metrics
• An analytical eye - you can identify trends, ideate a course-correction, and evaluate the success or failure of the approach (then do it all over again)
• The desire to win - you care about the success of the endeavor to which you're attaching your name and your valuable time
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills - you like people and can connect
• A willingness to learn and develop as a professional
• The ability to lead and contribute to a harmonious team environment
• Passion for music and the DJ art form
• Detail-oriented - you care about ''their'' vs. ''there''
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to identify and prioritize sales opportunities
• Excellent management and leadership potential, energy, judgment, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• 3+ years sales experience
