Production company seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team. Must be an extremely organized, perceptive person, know standard industry phone and scheduling etiquette, have extensive knowledge of Broadway theater and be very familiar with the Film/TV industry power-players including writers, directors, talent and agents. Needs to be a self-starter and enjoy working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment. Ideal candidate will need to be intelligent, driven, and organized. Experience with / ability to work long hours in an office setting. Candidates without experience and adequate academic major of Film, Television, or Entertainment need not apply.
Responsibilities:
-Standard desk coverage for producer (scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, maintaining a phones list/rolling calls, sending reminders)
-maintaining a to-do list for producer and ensuring they meet deadlines
-organizing and upkeep of producer's high volume inbox, with attention to time sensitive correspondence
-tracking the allocations of marketing materials across platforms
-maintaining a document that serves as a master tracking system for all projects in development, production, and post, with a focus and emphasis on all theater projects
Required Qualifications
-At least two years of marketing experience
-previous experience with rolling calls
-Strong organizational skills
-Self-starter
-Perceptive
-Ability to prioritize and multitask
-Strong attention to detail
-Willingness to work long hours
-Strong work-ethic
Preferred Qualifications
-agency experience
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 6am-8pm
Weekends on-call
