Production company is looking for one New York City-based Executive Assistant to be hired immediately; please do not apply if you cannot start right away and you don't live in the NYC area. To be considered you must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and a year of assistant experience in an agency or production company. Must know standard industry phone and scheduling etiquette, have extensive knowledge of Broadway theatre and be very familiar with the film/TV industry power-players including writers, directors, talent and agents. Ideal candidate will need to be intelligent, driven, organized, and thick-skinned.
Job duties include handling large volumes of calls, interacting with directors, producers, executives via phone and email, scheduling meetings, managing a very full calendar, and organizing materials to be presented.
The ability to multi-task under extreme pressure is a must. Please describe an example of this, at a previous job, in your cover letter.
