Communications and Events Coordinator

Entertainment Law Firm seeking someone to handle communications and events coordination. The Manager of Special Projects is a very social position. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented, outgoing person to work in either the Beverly Hills or NYC office. This is an on-site role. This position will be expected in person (whether in the office or as-needed outside the office) 5 days/week.

Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham is a top boutique entertainment law firm with offices in New York City and Beverly Hills, serving clients in the motion picture, television and Broadway theatre industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager of Special Projects is responsible for managing several projects out of the scope of the company's regular functions. The basic roles and duties include compiling daily industry and client news announcements, sending out attorney schedules, organizing company social events, organizing company meetings and events, purchasing gifts, various research projects, administrative tasks, running errands and other tasks as they arise.

• Proactively identifies, researches, and qualifies upcoming projects for go/no go potential.
• Research and tracks openings, film information, industry festivals, award ceremonies and other related events.
• Independently manages several ad hoc projects ensuring the scope of the project fits the budget. Ensures projects are completed within scheduled timeframe.
• Coordinates attorney attendance at industry events. Communicates, reserves/books accommodations, obtains tickets, etc.
• Manages extensive client relations initiatives including follow up and follow through.
• Develops and maintains internal communication processes including daily industry and client news announcements.
• Creates innovative activities for firm engagement. Responsible for coordinating and project managing firm social gatherings and events.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of entertainment history and current pop culture desired. Legal and/or Entertainment Industry/experience a huge plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Anticipates needs and possesses strong attention to detail and follow through.
• Superior organizational skills and multi-tasks effectively between competing priorities.
• Outgoing personality. Has a friendly demeanor and positive ''can-do'' attitude.
