Scenario is a new literary management and production company, founded by experienced MP/TV lit agents (ICM, APA, Innovative, Gersh), story development execs, and producers from Academy and Emmy Award-winning production companies, studios and networks. As such, we actively coach and guide the careers of the key story creatives: writers, directors and creative producers.
At Scenario we take the educational and networking opportunities of internships seriously and we work hard to make sure our intern training program is one of the best in the industry, providing high-level training to give the experience you need to successfully launch your career. The internship is specifically designed to provide intern trainees with a deeper understanding of the most vital skill in Hollywood -- story.
Specifically, the intern program at Scenario offers trainees a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn industry protocol via participating in the story development process of our major studio, network and independent motion picture/television projects. Typical activities include: doing story analysis, research, sitting in on story meetings and notes.
Intern trainees have the opportunity to earn vital recommendations that are so critical to effectively launching careers in Hollywood and the international film industry. Scenario's senior staff and partners actively mentor and help top-performing intern trainees move up, both within the company or wherever in the industry their career interests take them. Additionally, motivated intern trainees have the opportunity to attend screenings and other industry networking events as part of their learning experience.
This internship is ideal for anyone interested in exploring or becoming a writer, director, or producer as well as any industry executive functions, most of which start with an ''assistant'' level position. While the intern training program at Scenario traditionally focuses on the story development part of the motion picture/television creative process, there may also be several on-set production opportunities.
Additionally, there are opportunities for intern trainees to focus their internship on film finance, which would include working with active producers currently involved in financing projects, international film distribution, and marketing.
Part-time and full-time positions are available (including optional evening and weekend hours) for this unpaid internship for school credit.
