Training Coordinator

Full Time Job
The Scanline VFX Training Coordinator works with the Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to support training initiatives across our organization. This is a role that provides the opportunity to further hone your organizational skillset, develop an instructional toolkit, and be involved with on-boarding, up-skilling, best practices, and learning standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Schedule training sessions, meetings & events
• Survey deployments & data collection
• Note taking and action plan syncs
• Training templates and monitor template needs per training type
• Support maintenance of training programs
• Project management support: with updates, monitor project health, handle reminders, raise flag on delays to L&D Manager, capture and relay action items, assign tickets, manage documentation requests
• Data: compile and present data in an effective way

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Curious about how people learn and improve
• Previous training coordination, instructional design, learning platform and/or administrative experience
• Knowledge of adult learning principles a plus
• Previous VFX / studio experience a plus
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented
• Detail-oriented and strong communicator, both in written and spoken form
• Takes initiative and goes beyond established framework; looks for new ideas and creative solutions to overcome challenges
• Comfortable with project management practices
• Experience with Jira, Monday, Shotgrid a plus
• Experience with Confluence a plus
• Experience monitoring milestones/tasks under tight deadlines
• Polite, easy-going, patient and service-oriented
• Team player with a good sense of humor
