As a Digital Humans Artist, you will work in the Digital Human Department to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot new digital human workflows for VFX shows and Virtual Production. You will need to balance complex tasks and have the ability to organize and automate their workflow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and designs new workflows in and out of Maya and in-house tools for advanced digital humans. This may include workflows in motion capture, virtual production, and other software
• Test and troubleshoot and makes adjustments as necessary throughout the production cycle
• Mentor and collaborate with other members of the Digital Humans, Modeling, Surfacing/Lookdev, and/or Groom department
• Support pipeline animation principles, timing, and departmental interdependencies
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in art and/or engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum four (4) years of Modeling and/or Lookdev experience for high profile VFX and/or animation projects
• Expert knowledge/experience of human anatomy
• Knowledge of Groom is desirable
• Expert knowledge of Maya. Houdini, Ziva, Unreal, XGen experience is a plus
• Shot finaling experience is a plus
