Due to COVID-19, this position is currently remote likely until the end of the year. In person office reopening plans are tentatively slated for early 2021, but are subject to change.
DEPARTMENT: Digital, Unscripted & Business Development
POSITION OVERVIEW: Talent Coordinators at Scale are responsible for providing support to talent managers, helping to keep the team organized and tackling special projects to drive business for our talent roster. The ideal candidate would have a passion for and knowledge of digital entertainment and the world of talent, bridging the gap between the vein of traditional media. Above all else this role requires proactivity, flexibility, resourcefulness, and a willingness for non-stop hustle. Talent Coordinator is expected to be extremely organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, intellectually-curious and excel at multi-tasking. A solid understanding of the digital landscape, entertainment industry, and Scale Management's business model is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Market Research: In-Person Meetings/News Driven - Host meetings with industry players, attend panels and keynotes, pull news from relevant trades to present to Talent team.
-Talent/Client Experience: Heading up everything from events such as VidCon, BeautyCon, NYFW, Summer in the City, Premieres, private events with MCNs, etc.
-Sourcing New Talent: Discovering up and coming talent and having an understanding for key players in the talent space.
-Attending industry events and talent meetings outside of normal work hours.
-Project and Campaign Coordination: Coordinating current projects post-deal closing (Books, touring, music, etc.)
-Talent Pitch Materials: Coordinator to work hand-in-hand with assistants/Managers to prepare key talent pitch materials, company portfolio, etc.
-Branded Opportunities: Talent Coordinator, from time-to-time, will be responsible for coordinating start to finish branded opportunities and campaigns in collaboration with Managers.
-Operations: Work collaboratively with Office Coordinator to maintain office culture and keep team abreast of current happenings.
-Content Programming: Provide unique content opportunities for clients owned and operated platforms and collaborating with talent on editorial calendars (Scripted Series, Collab Weeks, Photoshoots, etc).
REQUIREMENTS:
-Approx. 2-years of representation and/or talent relations experience in the entertainment space
-Any agency/management experience is a huge plus
-A keen interest in the digital space as both a professional and consumer
-G Suite and Microsoft proficiency
-Great written and verbal communication skills
-Project management experience a huge plus
-Ability to multi-task
