You aren’t just managing a timeline; you are orchestrating a multidisciplinary crew to ensure our work moves culture and builds lasting fandoms.
As a Senior member of the production team, you balance high-level strategic oversight with hands-on execution. You are a mentor to junior talent and a key partner to leadership in refining the ''Saylor Way'' of making work.
Responsibilities:
High-Stakes Project Leadership
• Lead the execution of complex, multi-channel campaigns (Social, Digital, AV, Experiential) from ideation through final delivery.
• Anticipate production bottlenecks before they happen and provide creative solutions that keep projects on track without sacrificing craft.
• Take accountability for the health of high-profile accounts, ensuring we deliver on time, on budget, and above expectations.
• Managing day-to-day communications with the client.
Strategic Financial & Resource Management
• Manage large-scale project budgets, ensuring maximum ''production value'' on screen while protecting agency margins.
• Partner with the Head of Production to forecast staffing needs, balancing team capacity with project priorities.
• Source and manage external partners, creators, and vendors, negotiating contracts that align with project SOWs.
• Oversee rights and clearances for music, talent, and third-party IP in partnership with the Head of Production.
Operational Excellence & Workflow Design
• Partner with leadership to design and optimize agency workflows (Asana architecture, asset management, ingest pipelines) to ensure our processes scale as we grow.
• Lead the implementation of new production tools and methodologies, ensuring the team is trained and empowered to work efficiently.
Mentorship & Team Development
• Manage and mentor Associate Producers and Producers, providing regular feedback, career guidance, and performance reviews.
• Foster a collaborative, ego-free environment where the production team feels supported to take risks and solve problems creatively.
Client Partnership & Strategic Alignment:
• Manage Multi-Stakeholder Communication: Act as the central hub for information across large-scale client teams (Brand, Legal, Talent, Strategy), ensuring all feedback is consolidated, clear, and actionable for the internal team.
• Drive Cross-Functional Consensus: Proactively lead conversations between Account, Strategy, and Creative departments to ensure internal goals align with client business objectives, preventing scope creep and ensuring a unified agency voice.
• Solution-Oriented Leadership: skillfully navigate the complexities of global organizations, anticipating approval layers and potential hurdles to keep production momentum moving forward.
• Creative Advocacy & Translation: Articulate the strategic value of creative decisions to business-minded stakeholders, bridging the gap between ''what looks good'' and ''what achieves the KPI.
Qualifications:
• 7–10 years of production experience within a creative agency, ideally with a focus on
• Proven track record of managing complex budgets ($3M ) and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep knowledge of social platforms, content trends, and the technical requirements of modern digital production.
• Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Harvest) and a passion for building efficient systems.
• Proficient in spreadsheets and database tools (e.g. Google Sheets, Airtable) to be able to forecast costs, manage resources, and organize complex projects.
• At least 2 years of experience managing or mentoring junior-to-mid-level staff.
• You are curious, collaborative, and thrive in the fast-paced, ever-changing landscape of entertainment marketing.
