Position Overview
Saylor is evolving – and we’re looking for the leader who can take our creator and brand partnerships practice to its next level. We’ve built real momentum with entertainment and lifestyle brands, and we have a clear vision for where the business goes from here: deeper creator relationships, more sophisticated programming, and a model that benefits creators, clients, and the agency alike.
This is not a talent booker role. It is not a community manager role. This is a business-building leadership position for someone who understands that strong, pre-existing creator relationships are a structural commercial advantage – and who knows how to build and monetize them at an agency level.
You will lead the Creator & Brand Partnerships division: managing a growing team, owning the go-forward strategy, closing deals, and building the creator relationships that differentiate Saylor in a crowded and fast-moving market.
Responsibilities:
Revenue & Business Development
• Own the Creator & Brand Partnerships division end-to-end – from bringing the right clients in the door to making sure they never want to leave.
• Lead and close pitches for creator-led programming, retainer engagements, and brand partnerships – positioning Saylor as a long-term strategic partner.
• Collaborate with accounts and new business to build Creator & Brand Partnerships into a standalone revenue driver, developing pricing, SOWs, and pipeline.
• Identify brand partnership opportunities that extend and deepen client relationships beyond traditional campaign scopes.
Strategy & Program Development
• Serve as the primary creative and design leader for the design team - representing the team in leadership conversations/meetings.
• Mentor and coach designers at all levels, helping them grow both creatively and professionally.
• Establish clear expectations, feedback loops, and growth paths for designers.
• Partner with People Operations and leadership on performance reviews, promotions, hiring needs, and team development.
• Foster a design culture rooted in craft, curiosity, inclusivity, and collaboration.
Client Leadership
• Serve as the senior strategic voice on all creator-led client work – translating brand objectives into programming strategies that earn attention the way entertainment does.
• Present confidently to C-suite and senior brand stakeholders, reinforcing Saylor’s value and deepening client trust.
• Establish long-term client relationships that grow in scope and generate referrals.
Team Leadership & Culture
• Manage and grow the Creator & Brand Partnerships team – setting clear expectations, mentoring talent, and building workflows that scale.
• Establish consistent processes for creator vetting, contracting, and performance reporting across all client engagements.
• Foster a team culture grounded in craft, curiosity, and commercial accountability.
Creator & Industry Relationships
• Build and maintain direct relationships with creators, agents, managers, and brand partners – with depth in entertainment-adjacent and lifestyle categories.
• Be someone creators and their representatives want to work with – because you bring real access, real briefs, and a genuine investment in their growth.
• Stay sharp on emerging talent, platform shifts, and cultural trends, and bring that intelligence into the agency’s work and positioning.
Qualifications:
We are looking specifically for someone with a talent agency or creator management background. You know how talent deals get structured, what creators and their reps actually care about, and how to build the kind of trust that earns preferred access before everyone else is calling. You’ve also operated at a level where revenue generation was part of your mandate – not something that happened downstream of someone else’s work.
• 8 years of experience across talent representation, creator partnerships, brand partnerships, or influencer marketing – with meaningful time in a talent agency or creator management context.
• Demonstrated track record of closing retainer or partnership deals – not just executing campaigns, but building ongoing commercial relationships.
• Experience managing a team and building scalable processes, not just running plays.
• Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube creator ecosystems – how talent is priced, developed, and contracted.
• Strong existing relationships with creators, agents, or management companies across entertainment, lifestyle, or adjacent categories.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; you can walk into a senior client meeting and own the room.
• Comfort at the intersection of creative strategy and business development – you think in terms of margin and retention, not just impressions and deliverables.
