Position: Staff Production Coordinator - Full Time
Company: Sawhorse Productions LLC
Location: Studio City, CA 90068
Start Date: Ideally Monday August 23, 2021 but flexible
Description:
Sawhorse Productions is seeking an experienced in-house Staff Production Coordinator to begin immediately.
The ideal candidate is looking to build a career in production at Sawhorse. The position is heavy in logistics and involves various functions in pre-production, production, and wrap on multiple types of projects, as well as some general office coordination.
We are asking for candidates that have at least 3 years of experience in coordinating different types of projects in both size and scope.
This position is expected to be in-office M-F from 9:30a-7p with an hour lunch (with occasional weekends and longer times during shoot weeks). This is a full time position with a salary of $70,000 per year with company benefits available after a 3 month probationary period.
Duties:
Assisting in pre-production on multiple projects on a day-to-day basis
Organization and data entry for all projects
Management of office resources, inventory, supplies, and workflow
Daily office checklist- like schedule maintenance, office organization and making sure that the office its is tidy
At times, driving the Sawhorse Van for shoots (must have a valid state issued driver's license and are comfortable driving a normal sized sprinter van).
Vendor paperworking
Prep/Wrap meetings with other team members
Payroll paperwork
Purchase Orders
Tracking costs, Accounting paperwork - like logging costs, etc.
Award forms
Calendars for clients
Must be able to do Crew, vendors and locations holds for shows
Scheduling pick up and drop offs for projects
General production problems solving
General office management tasks, like PPM books, Coordinator vendors for the office, helping with the day to day of office operations
Requirements:
Experience using Google Drive (Sheets & Docs), Microsoft Office, Slack, Dropbox and (Asana and Keynote is a plus)
Ability to work on several projects at the same time
Communicational and organizational skills
Professional phone/email etiquette
Must be comfortable wearing multiple hats and juggling various responsibilities
Perform well under pressure and in fast paced environments
Self-motivated, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Interest in production office/set work, enthusiasm for production
Clean driving record and own a personal vehicle
Team Player
Ability to work independently and complete projects from start to finish
BA in Film/Television is a plus, but not required
