Job Description:
The Sanford Mainers are seeking a Videographer to join their social and strategy content team. The Videographer will travel with the team for both home and away games, capturing video content throughout each event. Responsibilities include filming game action, fan interaction, and community events. The role also involves organizing and archiving video footage and working with other content creators and media personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Capture video content during games, including game action and fan interactions.
• Attend and film community events hosted by the Sanford Mainers.
• Edit and produce video content for social media posts and video features.
• Work closely with the Director of Photography & Creative and Director of Broadcasting & Media.
• Provide video content for media personnel and league media staff as needed.
• Organize and archive video footage after events.
Requirements:
• Experience shooting live sports.
• Experience with video editing (Adobe Suite preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver content quickly during and after games.
• Must own a high-speed camera with at least a 75-300mm kit lens (70-200mm preferred) and have the ability to shoot in 1080p and 60fps.
• Attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Proactive in generating creative content ideas and shots.
• Availability between June 1 and August 15, with potential flexibility.
Additional Details:
• Housing may be provided through a host family setup.
• College credit is encouraged.
• Additional equipment (such as SD cards) may be provided by the team if needed.
