Part Time Job
Title: Ticket Operations Coordinator
Department: Ticket Services
Reports to: Ticket Operations Manager
Duration: 2019 Baseball Season (Approximately March-October/ Approximately 30 hours per week)
Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt/Hourly
Position summary:
This Ticket Office Coordinator is responsible for assisting with box office duties during every Giants home game. This position will actively promote high standards of customer care in all box office operations.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist box office supervisors with coordination of box office activities during all Giants home games
• Process box office ticket sales including cash handling and account management
• Act as an intermediary for supervisor, with internal and external contacts, to resolve problems and respond to policy or procedural questions
• Assist with Mobile Ticketing Management training for internal staff and the fans
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills,
• Timely responsiveness to customer needs or box office complaints
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of box office transactions, policies and procedures
• Answer questions concerning events, tickets, schedules and provide information concerning future games and attractions at Oracle Park
• Work on office projects such as data entry, bulk mailing and other projects as needed
• Resolve customer service issues efficiently in a positive and friendly manner
• Assist in processing and mailing of group ticket orders
• Communicate professionally with all departments at Oracle Park in a positive manner
• Collect, verify and log daily box office deposits
• Contribute to box office operations for non-baseball events
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Experience within the service industry (sports or hospitality industries preferred)
• Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree being pursued
• Previous experience with ticketing systems a plus; Tickets.com experience preferred
• Able to work Giants home games, including weekends, and other special events as needed
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must be punctual, reliable, and exhibit a commitment to meeting both the work schedule and job requirements
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, and ability to lift 25lbs
