How do I hire a Premium Hospitality Host? Title: Premium Hospitality Host: Cloud Club & Luxury Suite Concierge
Reports to: Club Coordinator & Luxury Suite Assistant
Department: Luxury Suites
Duration: 2019 Baseball Season
Status: Seasonal/Hourly, Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
Premium Hospitality Hosts within our Club outlets are responsible for checking-in members at Club entrances, ensuring that Club spaces are functioning properly during hours of operation and providing exceptional guest service to Members & guests during all Giants home games and Club events. Hosts must also assist the Event Program Manager with day-of execution of private event rentals, non-baseball related and member events. Hosts must create and maintain a first class environment for all users of the space.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare Club venue prior to opening; maintain appearance of club spaces at all times
• Greet members and guests, scan game tickets and accurately complete the check-in process
• Develop detailed knowledge of Club experience opportunities, policies and procedures, Club venues, food and beverage offerings, upcoming events and other important information. Be able to effectively and accurately communicate this information to members and guests as needed
• Develop rapport with members and guests; provide prompt, courteous and complete service of requests
• Manage dining reservation system: check-in reservations, escort members to reserved areas/ tables, take future reservations
• Assist Club Manager with set-up, execution and breakdown of private event rentals
• Work with the Club Managers, Club Experience Managers, Director of Hospitality, and others to ensure the holistic execution of the Giants vision for both the Gotham and Cloud Club
Skills
and Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in guest services.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with proven ability to manage complex situations
• Detail oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a high-stress environment
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours on weeknights, weekends and holidays according to the Giants home game and private event schedules
• Capability to remain on your feet for hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35lbs.
