Full Time Job
Title: Graphics Coordinator
Reports To: Senior Manager, Productions
Department: SFG Productions/Marketing
Status: Full-Time/Exempt
Position Summary:
Provide support to SFG Productions by coordinating all graphical elements for video boards & concourse displays. Provide production design & oversee its implementation for Giants in-game entertainment and other non-baseball events.
Position Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and maintain all graphical elements for the main videoboard & other auxiliary displays throughout the ballpark
• Design & implement motion graphics for videoboard & displays using Ross Xpression
• Provide daily support in the control room during games & other non-baseball events
• Interface with other departments & external partners regarding graphical needs
• Collaborate with SFG Productions & Game Entertainment team in developing a fresh & engaging show for fans
Skills
& Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in a professional broadcast or production environment
• Excellent knowledge of Ross Xpression graphics system
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator)
• Proven experience and understanding of live production workflow and broadcast equipment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment while focusing on details and maintaining quality
• Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings
• Proactive, collaborative self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills
Preferred Skills
/Experience:
• Collegiate or professional sports team experience preferred
• Knowledge of Ross Carbonite or Acuity switcher
• Knowledge of sports scoring software, replay systems, NLE systems
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Broadcasting
• Familiarity with baseball
