Position: Associate,Customer Service
Department: Ticket Sales & Services
Reports to: Supervisor, Customer Service
Status: Part-Time/Hourly, Seasonal, Non-Exempt (24-35 hours/week)
Position Summary:
The Associate, Customer Service is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ticket issue resolution through personalized, direct communication with Giants customers.
Position Responsibilities:
• Provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to Giants customers via phone, email, chat and in-person communication
• Communicate ballpark policies, guidelines, procedures and general information in a clear and concise manner
• Assist Client Retention & Service Managers with Season Ticket Member related initiatives
• Develop rapport and positive relationships with Season Ticket Members and general fans
• Administer single game ticket sales for the regular season and Spring Training
• Manage inbound calls, emails and chats for the organization
• Support mobile ticketing and the Ballpark App
• Facilitate necessary, appropriate and apt action to resolve ticket and guest issues
• Serve as main point of contact in the Ticket Services Lobby welcoming, greeting and directing guests
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Established professional, personable and dedicated work ethic. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum two years' experience in customer service, preferably in the sports, retail or hospitality industries
• Exceptional customer service skills with proven ability to manage complex situations
• Proven technological aptitude to become proficient in organization's ticketing system (ProVenue), Online Maintenance system, MLB Ballpark app and Customer Relationship Management software (Salesforce)
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on meeting deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to work non-traditional days and hours according to the Giants home schedule
