We are seeking a Player Engagement & Family Services Manager to join our team! In this position you will be responsible for leading all aspects of player engagement and family services. Additionally, you will be able to maintain confidential documents and files, handle multiple tasks, maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude and have strong organizational and leadership skills. Responsibilities:
• Maintain day to day contact with players and family members to assist with daily concierge need.
• Manage player and family onboarding and relocation processes to include assistance with travel, housing needs, utility management, etc.
• Identify, research, screen, and suggest community and company resources that address needs of players and their families.
• Liaison with SS&E Business departments such as Human Resources, Finance, Public Relations, etc. to support player needs.
• Maintain records of players' off the court requests throughout career with San Antonio Spurs to have available for reference.
• Develop and maintain relationships with player family members to continuously offer meaningful opportunities for engagement and fellowship.
• Oversee operation of family room at home games.
• Coordinate family engagement events, including community service events, start of season gathering, special celebrations, etc.
• Coordinate with mental wellness director to create family resources for player family members.
• Oversee and continuously refine player family team application with city resources.
• Manage major department budget to ensure efficient execution of events and engagements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of SS&E and the needs and challenges facing different departments
• Understanding of the NBA and/or sports environment
• Public Relations skills and media savvy
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends to service the needs of the organization and its players
• Ability to travel as needed
