Educational Requirements:

Skills Required:
Hard Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in event planning and marketing, preferably with 3-4 years specifically in planning events.
• Experience overseeing part-time staff and managing event marketing teams.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and proactively solve problems.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
• Ability to lift 30lbs with assistance and manage marketing activation equipment.
• Clean driving record for operating company-owned vehicles.
Job Description:
Spurs Sports & Entertainment is seeking an Experiential Marketing Manager focused on brand growth strategies and creating unforgettable brand experiences. This role involves leading the strategic planning of annual events in the South Central Texas region, identifying data capture opportunities, and managing the event marketing budget and teams.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategic planning of the annual events calendar to grow the Spurs brand.
• Identify and organize grassroots data capture opportunities; track leads to report revenue and brand value.
• Oversee, train, and hire event marketing teams, including full-time staff and part-time representatives.
• Manage the event marketing budget, monitor expenses, and produce timely reports.
• Support internal SS&E events (e.g., Hype Team auditions, retail, theme nights) including developing marketing plans and communication strategies.
• Collaborate with key internal departments on Austin key initiatives and growth strategies.
• Manage offsite storage, marketing closets, and marketing vehicles, including inventory tracking.
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support events.
