Overview
The Event Security Drone Pilot will report directly to the Security Manager and will oversee all aspects of the drone operations during event days. Must follow the Federal Aviation Administrations’ Small Unmanned Aircraft (UAS) Part 107, when operating the drone and drone equipment.
Drone Pilot will not be responsible for providing any of their own equipment, all required equipment will be supplied by Spurs Sports & Entertainment.

Responsibilities
• Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management, ability to prioritize workload, follow detailed instructions.
• Strong communication skills to convey plan information and other types of data effectively.
• Process information and identify solutions to issues with staff, patrons and drone.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating as a strong team member.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Security Management.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain and maintain a Level II Security License with the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security program. (Must obtain within 90 days of employment)
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess a working knowledge of computer programs and software, such as Microsoft Suite.
• Must be able to work long hours, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, overnight and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods in extreme conditions.
• Must possess the ability to meet dress standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, or windy conditions throughout duration of the shift.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Part 107 UAS Pilot Rating.
• 100 Hours of Multi-Rotor sUAS as Pilot in Command.
• 1 Year of Commercial UAS Piloting Duties.
• Strong experience with small rotorcraft drones; FAA Part 107 preferred but not required.
• Experience with cameras, FPV, sensors and other applications of drones for commercial applications.
• Minimum of 0-2 years of technical experience, with strong general engineering knowledge including hardware, sensors, cameras and software.
• Level II Non-Commissioned Security Guard License holder.
