Digital Content Assistant (PT)

This position is responsible for assisting with, creating and distributing digital content on the Spurs Sports and Entertainment Social Channels. The eligible candidate will assist the digital department in creating digital content as well as content management. Candidates should have a strong interest in learning digital best practices as well as creating video and graphic content.

What You’ll Do:
• Assist with all SS&E franchises (San Antonio Spurs, Austin Spurs, Spurs Way, Spurs Sports Academy, and San Antonio FC) with game coverage, event coverage, and editing.
• Assist on game days with coverage including: managing photos, video highlights , social copy and other tasks as assigned.
• Utilize knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop to help edit videos and graphics across all SS&E franchises.
• Lead weekly meetings to brainstorm opportunities to execute current social trends.
• Create content plans for organizational initiatives, including holidays and themed game nights.
• Assist with research projects to help optimize social strategy across platforms.
• Assist with on-site photo and video content coverage at events throughout the season.
• Assist in uploading content on various platforms including franchise websites and YouTube.
• Assist in logging social content on daily basis.
• Archive both video and photo content across all franchises .

Who You Are:
• A passion for sports and preferred knowledge of all SS&E franchise s.
• Basic knowledge of Instagram, TikTok , YouTube , Twitter, and Facebook.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and other non-traditional hours to help to assist in content coverage.
• Ability to work normal business hours at least 3 days per week in office/remote hybrid format.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Photoshop (Other Adobe Creative Suite programs or editing software a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Power Point).
• Basic photography and videography skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and support multiple high-level positions.
• Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
• Demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Strong teamwork aptitude required .
• Strong customer service skills required .
• Strong good oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Self-starter who brings innovative ideas to the table.
• Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Access to means of transportation to local events for coverage.
• Spanish speaking a plus.
