Basketball Operations Quality Assurance Assistant

Overview-

The Basketball Operations QAA is responsible for assisting the various departments within basketball operations, reporting to the Basketball Operations Manager. The eligible candidate will demonstrate a selfless mentality, detail-oriented work process, strong interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills, and a passion for basketball.

The person in this role should be reliable and maintain a high-level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and maintain a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities
•
• Responsible for effective note-taking in department meetings.
• Transport Spurs guests, players and staff when appropriate using company vehicle.
• Assist Strategy department with various CBA-related tasks.
• Assist Scouting department with organizing information for the NBA Draft and Free Agency.
• Assist Basketball Operations with various tasks as needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications
-
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and other computer skills required.
• Experience working in Sports or related field preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work long hours, including Holidays and weekends.
• Possess a clean driving record to operate company-owned vehicles.
• Possess reliable transportation
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• The ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks.
