Overview:
The entertainment teams provide in-game entertainment for all fans. The Associate Entertainment Manager role leads the community impact of SS&E's entertainment assets, such as mascots, Spurs Hype Squad and championship trophies. The person in this role will be successful if they are able to cultivate and energize fans through the usage of these assets by creating impactful experiences. The position also provides leadership and brand development support for talent in alignment with the department's goals and strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Leadership and oversight of mascot and entertainment team programs.
• Development of strategy/ goals as it relates to all SS&E entertainment team assets to include the evaluation of the effectiveness/impact of the programs.
• General oversight and management of SS&E's brand impact through usage of the entertainment team assets.
• Management and support of the entertainment personalities within the game presentation department; talent transfer of knowledge and training succession.
• Support and advantage entertainment team revenue generation opportunities and sustainability.
• Collaborate with creative, content and digital across departments to produce and support the production of content.
• Game Presentation lead and contact for special events throughout the year.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience in Marketing, Sports Management or a related field.
• 3-4 years of Game Presentation experience and/or event planning experience.
• 1-2 years experience overseeing part time or full time staff.
• Extensive knowledge of supporting an organization's branding, vision, and philosophy when it comes to commitment of assets.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other computer skills required.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Strong teamwork aptitude required.
• Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to work with a variety of personalities, internally and externally.
• Ability to work independently to coordinate & delegate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience showing success as a self-starter, pro-active, and highly motivated individual.
• Strong planning, scheduling and communication of steps, procedures and logistics.
