Samuel Goldwyn Films, a major, independently owned, and operated motion-picture company that develops, produces, and distributes innovative feature films and documentaries, is seeking an organized and enthusiastic team player to support our growing Operations department. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and capable of wearing many hats at once.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with contract servicing, operations, and creative teams to ensure timely delivery of all materials and assets for outbound deliveries (ie Domestic AVOD/SVOD, International partners, etc)
Convert files to match platform specs and deliver to platforms (VOD/AVOD/SVOD)
Work with marketing to ensure marketing materials are delivered
Be responsible for timely, accurate submission of all necessary metadata per platform/partner
Track deliveries via internal spreadsheets
Maintain live content on Prime Video Direct and daily monitor to fix any flagged issues
Excellent organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and time management skills
Excellent in Microsoft Suite, Google Drive
Qualifications:
0 to 4 years' experience in digital operations
Familiarity with the major distribution platforms - Amazon, Pluto, Roku, etc.
Knowledge and usage of Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier preferred
Exceptionally strong client servicing skills and ability to follow-up on initiatives quickly and efficiently
Fast paced work environment requires strong multitasking skills, excellent time management, and a high attention to detail with proactive engagements both externally and internally
Demonstrate passion for film/television and deep knowledge of digital video landscape and trends
Take on ad-hoc projects and assignments
Undergraduate degree required
Ability to work independently, remotely.
Samuel Goldwyn Films is currently working remotely. The candidate should be LA-based. This role is ideal for someone looking to get into the post production side of entertainment. We are a small, collaborative company with growth potential for the right candidate.
