Video Editor, YouTube Channel

This is a Full Time Job

In addition to our main channel, we have other channels and many video-based projects as well. We are looking for an editor who can cut together YouTube videos that will be seen by millions of people.

This will be a full-time, long-term position with many possibilities for growth. Not only will the content you work on be seen by millions of people, you'll be a valuable team member that directly contributes to the business as a whole.

Qualifications:

• While this is a remote position, you must be located in North America so that your work schedule can sync with our team's.
• You have experience in editing fast-paced YouTube videos.
• At least 2 years experience working in Adobe Premiere
• Skilled in editing, pacing, sound design, and color
• You have a genuine passion for YouTube and the creator ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• You will be mainly working on the Sam and Colby Reacts channel (@samandcolbyreacts), though you'll occasionally help with our main channel and other projects as well.
• Add your creative flare to all videos. While we have a style and format we stick to, we're always looking for ways to innovate and make the content better!
• Work directly with Sam, Colby, and the other members of our creative team to release at least 1 video per week
• Look into analytics to figure out what is working well vs. what is not, and make recommendations for future episodes.
• Assist in coming up with ideas for each episode.
• Be in tune with viral trends on YouTube, TikTok, or other social media platforms & figure out ways to incorporate them into the episodes.
